Hmmm.

I loved the way the song sounds and the idea behind it, but the buildup was kinda slow for me.

The gold of the song, for me, sounds like it starts at around 3:22. When the beats came in and stuff it sounded GREAT! My only complaint is that it could've made it there sooner. Maybe try adding more to the song so that you can punch in the beats earlier and keep the audience in tune. It's a great song and people need to hear all of it, so you gotta find a way to keep them in it for long enough!

Nice stuff dude,

EmptyCell responds:

Thanks...I do that song from loops, so I do that little bit longer :D

This rocks.

I feel like I wanna get up and jam out to this. Cool song!

Although, my one question is at around :36 or so, there's this interesting melody that comes in on a cheesy sounding synth, and it kinda seems a bit odd in a song of this genre. What was your inspiration?

Keep up the good work!

Pgtblink responds:

hmm good call.. t the inspiration was weed, maybe i had a few too many tokes at the 30 sec mark ahhah.. remix time

Beautiful.

I thought of walking out and looking up at the night sky at first, then I suddenly imagine light bursting everywhere around me as the stars and light shone brightly off the clouds. Like an explosion of beauty.

I loved how everything was put together and the way all the melodies fit. And the build throughout the song was pretty much fantastic. GREAT stuff!

p.s. come check out our music!

KKSlider60 responds:

Thank you very much!
I'm glad you had such visuals when hearing this track, because it's exactly what it could deliver :D
A powerful message, a teaching.

Woah. O_o

I'm not a dubstep expert. I dunno what makes good dubstep and what makes dubstep, and I don't really even have a clue what dubstep is supposed to sound like.

But that was awesome. And really trippy. Good stuff man. :D

If you wouldn't mind, come check out our music dude! We don't make the same kinda music, but you make some cool stuff. We're like your opinion on our stuff.

-Autumn Collapse

LewBerry responds:

Yeah man thanks :) And when I'm not busy I'll deffo have a listen to your stuff.

Woah...

The notes were pretty trippy. I liked it. I definitely thought of a world that was in constant motion. I guess my only complaint is the sawtooth synth at around 1:15 that kinda threw me out of the calm, entranced mood I was in from the beginning melody stuff.

Good job, keep up the good music stuff man :]

Aaroca responds:

It ain't moving if it stays the same.
Thanks much!

Pretty good.

The drums lack a lot of character. I feel like you didn't spend much time on the drum portion and only made the song's melodies and stuff good.

I liked the synthy stuff and I liked how it all fit together. I especially like the piano :] maybe the ending with the octave notes is a little bit odd, but maybe that's what you intended?

Either way, keep up your work. [or lack thereof, like you claim in your info. box]. See if you can't put some more BAMF in the drums!

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

Thanks Autumn-Collapse,

I like how you liked the piano, because I admit I made a few mistakes here and there. Thanks, and I'll try and put a bit more BAMF in the drums!

Beautiful

I hardly come across DnB songs that are pretty, but the piano melody added a nice touch to the song. This is just a preview, but it's great! What was your inspiration behind writing this one?

-Loved the way the piano melody flowed.
-The beats and extra synths add a nice punch to it while not making it unbearably harsh to the ears.
-My one complaint is that I didn't like how it suddenly ended, but I understand that this is a preview. Will you be adding an ending?

Overall, great job :]

NaotoNekoCutie responds:

I'm glad you like it!

My inspiration behind this song is the idea of memory and how we can remember things that can either make us happy or sad and wanting more.

As for the ending, I'm working on it as I am typing this so expect the full version sometime in the next few days.

Fantastic!

I love the ambience and the melody, and overall I felt very lackadaisical and laidback. It makes me think of a nice day at the rec center or somethin, what with all the pools and stuff open, kids running around and laughing, etc.

Nice job!

Cool beans!

It's very relaxing and I definitely think about riding in a car or bike. :)

Depending on the listener's tastes or particular mood in which they listen to this, the piano melody might seem a bit repetitive. I guess whether or not you decide to change some of it or build it somewhere is completely up to you.

My only other comment is about the way the piano sounds. Maybe you could play around with the velocities of the notes a little bit, because it sounds really MIDI-ish and fabricated right now (which I know it is, but you can make workshop music sound awesome too).

Great job man :)

HeavenSent responds:

Yes, I agree, I am going to update the piano right now to make it not sound so harsh on the ears.

This song makes me smile. :D

Very relaxing, calm, and fun. I like the way it sounds, and it's really simple. Sometimes, simple is the way to go. Nice job dude!

MTLane responds:

Thanks buddy, exactly what I was going for, simple and not too over dynamic!
