Starscape has been uploaded and is available for your listening pleasure. Next song will be Insomniac. Give us a few months... school sucks...

Hello All,

Not entirely sure how many people check these posts, but we are checking in just to verify that we aren't dead. Zach is still on his two-year mission, and Mikey is still busy with school, so music has been cranking out *extremely* slowly. New submission coming soon - Starscape.

Thanks for your patience and support.

Love always,

-AC

Hello again everyone,

Winter break is coming up for Mikey, so he will have a bunch of time on his hands to work on some more music! Zach is away on his mission, so he will not be active again for about two years. Sad day :( But be on the look out for some more music from us! If you haven't taken a listen yet, we have uploaded our latest song, World Without Color, to newgrounds. Take care, -AC

Hello everybody,

Yet again we haven't really updated in a long time. All of our profiles (Bandcamp, Reverbnation, and Facebook) have been fully updated and all of the downloads and songs should be available. Zach is getting ready to go on his two-year mission, so Mikey will be running solo and contributing as much as he can (while attending school), so keep an eye out if you like our music!

Also, check out our newest song, We Remain Dormant In Fear of Seclusion. Here is the link to it:

Take care, folks!

So, we were all high schoolers playing together as a band. Today, all of us are going to our own respective schools so we haven't played together in a while.

The two original members who started the band, Zach and Mikey, are long time friends and still keep in contact. They actually are pretty active on YouTube, making back and forth vlogs to talk about their lives. You can check that out here: www.youtube.com/lidlurch

However, they are all working on their own music and will hopefully continue to work on music. Ross, 2nd guitarist, is reaching is senior year in high school and Dan, drummer, is up to unknown activities as of right now...

Hope you enjoyed our music! Check us out on Facebook to keep a closer eye on our activities.

The majority of you won't come. Actually, probably 100% of you won't come. But that's okay :D You can buy tickets to our show in Denver, CO, in the Oriental Theatre one June 28th. Tickets are $11. Here's the link https://tickets.aftonshows.com/AutumnCollapse

If you come because of newgrounds.... You'll be our hero!

Alrighty, so here's the breakup of what's going on.

Good News:
-Dan, the drummer, has officially joined us for good. We will still probably end up keeping the same variety of music genres that we play, so there's good news for that. Dan brings to us a new style of drumming and a new feel to our songs that TOTALLY beats a drum machine!
-New bass strings came in, and the bass sounds awesome with new strings. So much crisper and cleaner. Then again, the other strings were used for about 4+ years before we changed em.. Why do bass strings have to be so expensive?
-We play well together.
-We are now underway with creating a collab album with KKSlider60, combining our interesting style of acoustic, ambient, rock/alternative music with his electronic. This will be an interesting outcome...

Bad News:
-Dan (drummer) and Zach (bassist) are on vacation. Mikey (me, guitarist) is the only person who is at home readily available to make music currently. They will be back next week or so, after July 4th. Hopefully we'll be able to go back to steadily making music.
-Dan can only come and rehearse with us twice a week, which will be on Wednesday nights and Friday mornings. This will put a small limit on how much progress we can make within one week.
-With three people, it's going to be a little bit harder to make a song that the whole band is satisfied with. Hopefully we won't have too many clashing ideas or conflicting tastes while creating songs.
-We're still short on money. :(

Other than that, we're steadily making progress. We live in the Broomfield, CO area, so hopefully by the end of this school year, we'll all be good enough musicians to go perform at something they have here called the Broomstock (gathering of new upcoming bands and concert to celebrate end of school year). Look out for Autumn Collapse!

So, we're finally getting somewhere with our music because we have the time to and because it's the middle of summer. Hopefully we'll get a buttload of music recorded and uploaded, as well as work on our live performance before the start of school again in August.

Good news:
-We might actually have a real drummer soon. He's coming in for practice next Wednesday, the 22nd of June. Hopefully, it'll go well! We're getting sick of using a drum machine in all of our music, and it's about time we had a natural player.
-I just placed a new JB Jr. Humbucker Pickup in the bridge position on my red Mexican Strat. It sounds awesome :D
-Hopefully, the new bass strings will come in the mail soon.
-We're getting better drafts of all the songs we currently have, so we'll be uploading more soon!

Bad news:
-With a real drumset, we do not have the technology or gear to record with good sound quality. Needless to say, the sound quality will be at pathetic levels for a while.
-We don't know whether or not he'll enjoy what we play or stick around to do it, and even if he did, we don't know how often he can actually come in and practice with us. Practice is crucial for a band. O_O
-We're pretty much broke, so buying any new gear is out of the question.
-We only really have until August to be moving as fast as we are right now. After that, music-playing and practice comes to nearly a full halt as we prepare for our senior year of high school.

Be back at a later date with more news!

WOOHOO!!
